macartney 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Like the saturated colors and polarizer. Nice and bright. Link to comment
Brad Cloven 58 Posted October 1, 2008 I love the center section of the photo. The grass bench, road, rock outcroppings, mountain faces, clouds and shadows are all excellent. I wish I had been there too. What doesn't work for me are the foreground (uninteresting, especially on the left) and sky (overly polarized / vignetted and extraneous.) I would recommend a crop that excludes the top and bottom 20% to see how that would look. Good stuff! Good luck. Link to comment
julianj1 0 Posted October 2, 2008 Agree with Brad ... nice photo of a beautiful scene; really makes you want to be there ... crop would help to draw attention to the path and the cleft in the hill. Also, is there a tad too much magenta perhaps? Maybe benefit from warming a little. Link to comment
rugby photographer 0 Posted October 2, 2008 Thanks for the feedback. Oddly there was no polarizer used in this shot, just a split/graduated ND filter that resulted in darkness at the top of the photo. Again these are color negs which are scanned so the results vary. The actual prints are a lot richer and more color accurate. Link to comment
