I think this one is my favorite so far. The smooth lines of the veranda and the choppy waves of the water make such a nice contrast. And of course, the color. You are terrific at capturing color. I would love to sit there all day (with sunscreen on) and read a book or just stare at the water. This photo makes me feel very serene. Just beautiful. M

This is wonderful! I would love to be there with my best friend, basking in the sun, looking at the water and discussing the sights of Greece! Oh, I wish I lived in Europe so I could travel to such interesting places! :) Very wonderful pictures. On a broader note, I looked at this whole series, and the colors and compositions are very striking. Beautiful work!

Than a word to Kristin..my dear.. EVERY part-corner of the world has its charm.. it is our tasks as photographers to find them and present. Sure Europe has a lot of breath taking spots, but same for Asia, Sth America , Canada.. even the Pole and Sahara . I have a photo friend in Maryland-US and seen fab shots.. whatabout Niagara..ETC etc. To all I send a big hug and thanks my friends!!

Very good point you make. :) Shooting close to home is a challenge because I'm so used to the views that I don't see them with the same amazement as someone who travels here. Maybe I should force myself to see the DC / Baltimore area in a new way and see what I come up with. Thanks for the encouragement.
