Life On The Rocks

Long exposure photo, shot this way in an effort to soften the scene

and create a somewhat painterly effect. Thanks for any comments /

critiques.

And this one as well. I love the diagonal FG that create a kind of triangle with the BG rocks where the trees are and leads us in , a bit unusual dreary place for trees to grow, and looking at the large format, I feel the wind that bends them to the L. again the texture, light, slow shutter, DOF ( so nice, as the soft clouds are seen in the very far far away BG), and the colors, bluish/gray soft brown vs. the water blue. It looks such a " clean" sight, kept from any human touch, pristine, silent, beautiful!

Enticing picture, the composition is excellent, and the way you chose to shoot the scene with a long exposure is magnificent. All in all, a superb photograph, congratulations!

Much of the bay islands and shoreline are national or provincial parkland and the entire northeastern Georgian Bay has been designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve so hopefully, it will remain unspoiled for future generations.

Nice composition with the fg curved rock and the slow water. Very sharp. The colours are very nice.
