I have never encountered such a display of wildflowers out in the wild myself! Then, to combine it with a great display of sun-rays is simply unbelievable.

Gorgeous image!

Simply amazing to my eyes. I could be bothered by the grad line darkening the mountain ridge, but so much of this is stunning, I am distracted by the sheer beauty.

It is indeed an eye-catching image. You did enter this for critique, so I've got to speak my mind.

IMHO, red flowers are too vivid, over-saturated. Especially with the light source behind a cloud, behind a mountain. Too much saturation overall in the bottom half of the image.

I do not see these wildflowers as oversaturated, although I can't know for sure if post-processing ramped up the saturation or not. I believe it is more the fact that the flowers, although in the partial shade and the sun is obscured by clouds, are in fact backlit, which creates a glow. My guess is that Luca has applied levels or curves to establish white and black points and nothing more. I make this comment because I have firsthand captured the same effect with both film and digital. Perhaps what nature has provided is too strong for some, then a reduction of saturation might be called for. For me, I love the color and the vivid feel of this. If I were to say it is too strong, I would point out the band of green just above the flowers, but I am also guessing the greens are rich because of the time of year and the backlighting as well.

Maravillosa perspectiva de flores y campiña verde italiana! excelente. Se nota bastante el cambio de exposición en las montañas aunque no la desmerece un ápice.

what the unaltered orignal (RAW or JPG) looked like? This is a nice result, however, to me it appears that there was quite a lot of pp applied.
