Any thoughts on this one? Sometimes I really like it, sometimes I

don't.

This is a good one. I see an impending mob hit, and the type/age/oldness/shine of the car fits with the mob image. The object on the left resembles a telephone, that seems to gel with the story (the phone rings when the time is right for the killing?). The ominous sign discouraging vehicles beyond this point is also key. The time of day when you took the shot fits. All in all, a very cogent story, with no inconsistent element. The composition is balanced.

 

I don't like the color cast. You should make it a little bit more neutral.

 

I love its atmosphere and composition. It's simple but all the elements are carefully positioned. Blue is a bit too strong, hiding otherwise contrasty color of the car front.

It would be a great picture without the sign, but even with it, the photo becomes very funny. The big truck says, what, me worry?

I think I like it, but I can see what you mean about not being able to make up your mind. Different people have different impressions (one mentioned a mob hit), but I think of a 'person' sticking his head around the corner.

Caught me by suprise, made me laugh as the car looks like an animal.....
