Cano 10D with Mir26B 3.5/45 medium format lens and tilt adapter. Post proc just BW conversion, sepia tint, levels, slight curve adj and sharpen.

any comments on composition would be much appreciated - I had

thought about cropping out the adjoining parts of the buildings to the

left, but settled on what I first had in mind. Also, how does the sepia

toning come across for this? The untoned monochrome seemed too

cold and documentary-like to me.

You've beaten me to this...!

 

I like the sepia - it works quite well, and, knowing the location, I think that the pic is pretty good.

 

One idea I had, (I'll let you into my secret!), is that when there's no wind, particularly early morning - say 4am, the light's reflection on a very still Lagoon are much more special!

 

Nice to see that you manage to go west from your area on occasions!!
