randy_spears1 0 Posted October 7, 2002 2nd day out with my new Canon G2. Digital gives you a lot of freedom to play with immediate feedback. This lobby was almost limitless in photo opportunities. If you're in Atlanta, check it out. Link to comment
eli currey 0 Posted October 7, 2002 It took me a minit to figure this picture out,....I like that =).... at first it sort of looked like the bottom of a ship...then a bunch of escilators meeting at a walkway,... and the patterns are incedible, very well done shot =^..^= ~~~3li Link to comment
robert_m._stein 0 Posted October 9, 2002 Randy, this is a very difficult picture to do well. You certainly have done that. Wonderful abstraction of the ordinary. Link to comment
mathias_graf 0 Posted October 11, 2002 Like it! My only criticism would be that I feel the picture either needs 'perfect geometry' (that is, for the 'spine' to be absolutely central and vertical), or the central exis to be more positively off-centre. At the moment the picture is somewhere in between, and I think that this somewhat weakens its graphical impact. Link to comment
nelson cotrim 0 Posted October 23, 2002 Reminds me of Kubrick´s 2001. Looks like a futuristic walkaway... The lines and colors are great!! I agree with Mathias, I noticed it even on the thumbnail. Link to comment
yoti 0 Posted November 3, 2002 Consider a vertical composition. Try to balance out both sides. Notice that the pattern on the lower right corner does not match the pattern on the lower left corner. The upper corners do not match either. Very creative shot. I also enjoy the way the center column draws ones eye to the very top circle light fixture. Good Eye My 2 ¢ Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 10, 2003 I agree with others that this needs a little work in Photoshop for the alignment and cropping. A little adjustment of levels, color balance and saturation, too. Once completed this will be a superb abstract. Link to comment
