Cropped Version of Pretty Boy

This is my first attempt at Bird Photography. I actually found it quite an

enjoyable experience. I know the composition could be better, such as

the bird looking into the frame rather than out. Please let me know

anything else I could improve on whether it be comp or quality. Thanks

it is a lovely image, I like it , you have asked for some thought about composition etc.

For me birds are not the easiest subject to photograph, they are fast, we can not be close to them,etc the best is a tele but if we don''t have it we will need to try to get close, or maybe shot with a narrow aperture and then crop in the pc. this image here I would set the bird a bit more on the left and the direction that it is looking leave more space. But you don't need to assume that it is a critique , I am trying only to share some thoughts, Warm regards.
