Out and About

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Canon 580ex flash and have been experimenting

with trying to keep detail in the background while highlighting the

foreground. Would I have been better off using a reflector for this shot?

Hi, if you really want to experiment with fill flash, use it during daylight, with a backlit subject, this is when fill flash really stands out well. here is an example of fill flash with back lighting
