aepelbacher 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Another from my early morning walk around Tucson's historical areas. There was something in the way of my shooting this straight on, so my best option was an angle. I couldn't get a sharper angle (my preference) without losing the blue door. So this was a happy medium. I cloned out a sign at the very far left of the frame. Your thoughts? Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted September 3, 2008 Lou Ann, Great lighting, beautiful deep rich primary colours, though I agree a straight on approach would have been preferable. In this case the diagonal approach tends to minimize the impact of the doors & window frames. Still, a nice return on your investment. Without having seen the original its just a guess but I'd say the decision to remove the sign was valid. Always interesting to see your output. Best, LM. Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted September 5, 2008 Compliments to you. You have such a great eye. I love the colors and the shapes. Don't know that I agree with the straight on view. I think the angle of the street enhances the image and gives it depth. All my best-Jim Link to comment

Christal1664882414 0 Posted September 16, 2008 This probably would have been good head-on, but it certainly works at this angle as well. It's a simple but very effective shot. If I were to frame this, I'd probably crop just a titch off the top, which I don't think would encroach too much on the red doorway. I think there is a little too much white wall in the UL. This photo is kind of on the order of what I was commenting on with your photos the other day.....a series of 3 in different colors. Anyway, I love all of your Tucson shots. Bravo! Link to comment
isometrixx 0 Posted December 13, 2008 your on a color roll, I like the angle here and see it as most likely preferable to the head on version. The street gets more play here and the windows are not as central. Link to comment
