Guest Guest Posted August 31, 2008 Here the second egret bows , then walks forward and would attempt to snatch fish within the small pool he was guarding ...was funny to watch each one do this then make a run at either the side front or back ....meanwhile the tough guy managed to maintain control of his fishing grounds /...... giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted September 1, 2008 is perfectly caught, and in this one there is a very good light that enhances the scene, thank you Jeffrey, Giuseppe Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted September 1, 2008 I like your little wirte up on what you experience at that moment. Increase one's appreciation of the picture & one's visualisation of the scene. It also look to me that they are 'courting' :-) One trying to get the courage to approach the almighty one on the rock. ( So how's the storm now there? You trapped at home, can't go out?) Guest Guest Posted September 1, 2008 thanks for stopping in , last day or so ive been getting a lot of anon 3-3 s guess i pissed some one off ...eh ... Oh well ...anyways ...we are lucky So far weve been getting the outer bands of Gustav ..But it was a slight glancing blow ,,,nothing big ...unfortunatly We now have Hanna , and (Ike) heading our way and another monster storm coming off the coast of africa ....only my 3rd year down here ...so its a little unusaul ...Im used to driving in blinding 0 visabity lake effect snow with storms that can drop 4 to 8 feet in less than 24 hours ...but not to sitting waiting for a monster to come in ...To all my friends at Pnet currently in the way of this monster ...My prayers are with you ....Good Luck .. kathyb 72 Posted September 1, 2008 Jeffrey, A rating of 3/3 ? Go figure! It was wise of you not to take it personally. If you take look in the upper left corner of my portfolio, you'll see where I have a photograph of a peach colored flower with not enough room at the top. Then see the after photo next to it where I expanded the canvas in Photo Shop. I learned that technique here. When I first started to get 3/3 ratings, I was so upset that I quit participating at PN but I came back and in my 3 months here I have learned a lot and have kept a positive attitude thanks to your support and the support of others at PN. It's all good. Thanks Jeffrey for your unwavering support. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 1, 2008 How true . I made the mistake of actually commenting on some very ah ......shall we say contraversal images the other day .....and since then all over images are getting hit with the ole anon 3-3 s ...but I agree with you ..for in actuality some one who is not willing to put there name to a rating ...obviously knows nothing of photography ....As images I present are sold printed on products all over the US ...a 3-3 means nothing ...I would truly appreate it if the people issueing these would at least explain there ratings ...perhaps they are catching something that the other 40 members who rated a 6-6 or 7-7 did not see ....So I am curious ....but ah well no biggy ...And I do agree with you ive now been a member for 6 months and I learn something new everyday ....you can also count on my support ..thanks for stopping in Link to comment

robert becker 0 Posted October 22, 2009 Cropped too tight on the left, right and top. Head angle of the bird on right is unappealing. Colors are muted. Shooting angle seems awkward. Background is horrible...in my opinion. Link to comment
