It is wonderfully, mystically moody. It has just the right amount of shadow detail, and the composition is very well executed.

 

Now if it only had some subtle edge treatment to really enhance the impact!

Very nice image, the light on the mushroom is just right and the dark background provides a nice contrast. Also, I like your angle on this photo, the low point of view you've taken really brings the viewer close to this subject.

Wonderful light, great composition. Perhaps the shadows in the upper left could have be brought up a bit to bring out more bark texture there. The glow and texture on the subject is wonderful though. Nice!
