short1 0 Posted August 21, 2008 You just keep getting better and better. This photo takes your work to a new level of excellence. It's evocative of an ancient era, despite the modern structure and dress. I think this derives from the lighting ( in this case, the architecture is dark - as well as bland ), and contrasts with the high key upper torso of the model, which fades to low key. The DoF also contributes to a sense of the remote past, a column prominent, but beyond that...shadows. There is mystery here as well: What is a comely woman in formal dress doing in such circumstances...which is provocative. All in all, a brilliant composition, with an intriguing and unique interplay of color, light... and a suggetive theme. 7/7 Craig Unger Link to comment

barbara anderson 0 Posted August 23, 2008 Had to add my two cents. I love the picture. The model is beautiful!! The house has the look as it is waiting for this Beauty to enter and bring her beauty and light into the darkness and make everything bright. The house would be so happy to have such a beauty for company. You are so great with your camera, models, and everything involving this type of work ! Keep up the great work. I love looking at your photo's. Barbara A. Link to comment

amir49 0 Posted October 13, 2009 beautiful capture . but im not in agree with others about lightening this model and house ..there is harsh light on the model with shadows in back of her body and theres no relation between these two exposure of face and body and the other portions of building . best regards .<<<>>> Link to comment
dean 0 Posted October 13, 2009 I really like this style of portraiture. It might "feel" better with a little more exposure in the background? Or maybe just a softer light so the edges faded a little more smoothly? Overall - exceptional! Link to comment
