taylor_walker 0 Posted August 20, 2008 I was asked to do a senior photo for a good friend. I have not shot much portrait stuff at all. I used a 20D, 70-200 f/2.8L and natural light for this shot. At first I was unsure how I felt about the green bokeh, but I think I like it now. Link to comment
mlackey 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Terrific shot! I could only speak to what I would do and I am no expert and this is art so there truly is no right or wrong. I give this 6 for originality love the pose, expression, background and the horse she is sitting on. Aesthetics 6 as well very well exposed, crazy sharp, I would consider cropping so that her face is more prominent. You won’t loose much of that terrific bokeh and her folks and family want to see the face. IMHO Great shot best regards to you. Mitch . Link to comment
Mark Keefer 4,779 Posted August 20, 2008 Very nice. Pretty girl, great pose. You really can't go wrong here. The only thing I would have done different would be to get the foot of the girl in the image, unless there was something really funky going on with her foot. It is only a minor detail. It is a good photo. Is that a horse she is on? Link to comment
vim 0 Posted August 20, 2008 A terrific portrait! but I'm not sure that cutting of her foot was a good idea... Link to comment
jdchoate 0 Posted August 20, 2008 A very nice shot indeed! I agree with Mitch except for one thing... the rock she is sitting on has fur and a mane, so I'm not sure if it's a rock ;) Link to comment
dost 0 Posted August 20, 2008 It's really nice exposure ..... captured very beautifully. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted August 20, 2008 Agree about the foot but otherwise it's a great shot. Link to comment
jkilgo 0 Posted August 21, 2008 This is indeed a nice portrait...very creative and I'm sure captures the character and personality of your model to a T. I agree with one of the earlier posters about her right foot...I would prefer to either have it in the frame, or crop the image much tighter so emphasis in more on her face...Nicely done.
