RickDB 10 Posted August 13, 2008 One for Salvador - but not in Mexico! Taken using the handheld XDR technique discussed in Salvador's forum post. This lovely church is overlooked by Koln Cathedral and overlooked by many visitors too! Started in 1458 this basilica style church was altered to the Baroque style in 1708. The high altar features figures from 1671 and a Madonna and Child by Hans Multecher dated 1440. Link to comment

milena_safrova 0 Posted August 13, 2008 It was overlooked by me, too :-) I like this presentation very much with its gentle and soft colour tones and perfect details. Really very nice. Cheers! Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted August 20, 2008 Salvador - As soon as I stepped inside this church I was immediately reminded of your great pictures from Mexico - it must be the basilica style. Thomas - all the more beautiful when you look at the pictures (posted in the entry) of this church taken in 1945 - no roof and rubble filling the aisle. A remarkable restoration! Milena - Next time you are in Koln, be sure to drop by! Thanks all for your kind comments, RickDB Link to comment
vadima 0 Posted October 9, 2008 An exceptionally well-ballanced HDR. Congratulations. I wonder who may be that desperate person who rated this image 3/3. Best regards, Vadim Link to comment
