pnital 36 Posted August 11, 2008 This is simply breath taking, the backlight silhouettes of people's activity are adding the "salt and peper" to a beautiful sunset in itself. The colors, form and textures are very well exposed the light on the sky reflecting on the water are creating a well composed image. Wonderful ! Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted August 12, 2008 I worked myself to millions of bites to rate this image properly - without result. It deserves better than my 6/6 by definition. Regards, El Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 13, 2008 Flirting with the gorgeous but who could resist? This is one of those pictures where you look at the picture and say "wow, did I do that?" No, God did that, you were just lucky enough to take the picture. And God was kind enough to people your beach with those little silhouetted figures (especially the leaning man with the bucket) that add a touch of whimsy to a scene that might otherwise be too glamorous for its own good. laurentlacoste 0 Posted August 14, 2008 Thanks, Jack, thanks a lot. I couldn't agree more with you, and that's a good feeling to be thankful for that. Have you also noticed the silhouette in the bottom right-hand corner who bends in exactly the same fashion as the little bit of cloud at the top right above it? Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted August 14, 2008 Laurent, spectacular shot of the glory of Nature. I find two distinct images in one shot, if we crop the image from middle. Yes,man and cloud are bowing in the same manner to the Creator. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 14, 2008 Being predominantly curmudgeonly, I don't normally respond to sunrise/sunset images. I'm able to appreciate the beauty of nature (if not of God), but too often they are vacuous in reproduction. You've elevated this one to something with a huge amount of life force. The color and texture of the water with the silhouettes and your fade to black is magnificent. You're on your game my man. Keep it up. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted August 14, 2008 This is a very attractive image, really nicely taken. The gold of the sky dribbling down into the surf is pure magic against those silhouetted beachcombers. Link to comment
