laceyhughes 0 Posted August 8, 2008 Very nice. I would crop a little more off the right edge to bring everything into balance. Well done. Link to comment
leroy laverman 0 Posted August 8, 2008 Nice composition. I like the depth in this. My eyes are really led into the frame. There's a nice sense of story in this shot as well. Well seen. Link to comment
dougbrill 0 Posted August 9, 2008 Wow! This looks like it is taken out of a movie. Children in such grown up poses and expressions. Great capture. B&W tones are perfect for this image. Congrats! DB Link to comment
matthias_wagener 0 Posted August 9, 2008 Nice composition and great expressions on the kids' faces. I would crop the right side a tad. Nice choice with b/w. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 9, 2008 Hello, Maestro. I'm not sure whether you are even aware of it, but I've been following your work for quite some time, and I really like your keen eye for what I'd call "portraits with a true insight in people's minds" - sorry if this sounds strange in English, but I suppose you can see what I mean anyway. Now this picture is just extraordinary. The way these two little guys are so obviously playing some strange and flagrant seduction game with this little girl is plain amazing. The reason why someone commented it looks like a movie scene is precisely because it's so alive, that it's hardly something that can be posed... And yet, here it is, and I'm left wondering what was the story of the photo session, HOW it all came to this point. Whether you posed them or not, how long was the "session", and how you went about these 3 fellows to reach this unbelievable story-telling peak...? Ok, for me there is still a very minor negative side in terms of technique: why burn the image this much ? Some burning was imo perfectly right, but I feel you might have gone just a little too far. With that said, I think this is definately one of your top 10 best images, and really, you made my day. Thanks ! :-) Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted August 11, 2008 Could not get my eyes off this image. The stare of the three children show as if they want to communicate with you. It projects children coming of age, maturity or puberty. It conveys rivalry and the boy at the back just made it so. Such a beautiful image that delivers a complete story. Congratulations! Well done. - Lester Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 11, 2008 "its not like stictly comannded photosesion :)" That's what I was guessing, yes. And that's probably why it remained so lively. Heartfelt congrats ! Cheers. Link to comment
drr 0 Posted August 12, 2008 Wonderful. The capture of the children's characters is so complete that it is possible to sympathize with the superstition of photographic soul stealing. Outstanding composition and timing. Link to comment
eugenio_pastor_benjumeda 0 Posted August 13, 2008 After all theese comments I can't add any more, but I can tell you this image seems to me really attractive, so that it catches your attention and makes you to look at it for a long time. It's excellent for me. I love those eyes. Regards, Eugenio. Link to comment
