A great shot. The background with the yellow flowers really complements the pastel colored sky. This cute shot speaks about childhood curiosity and fun. Upon further reflection, I think this capture in some way represents the difference in perspectives of the sexes. For the most part we all know that men and women view things differently. The opposite position of the bodies hints to that.

I like Adan's interpretation, although it's not what my first thought was. I see them as co-conspirators in what will end up being a trip to the Emergency Room and a good story for subsequent family gatherings.

Maybe because they are dressed for water sports your image has reminded me of times I used to walk across a water pipe over a canal at the tide flats. It was either walking 20 feet across the pipe or 2 miles around to get to the other side. I remember how scared I was doing that pipe. Thanks for the memory.

The coast line is just on the other side of the flowers....the cabin is gone, best we can tell all that is left is parts of the slab. It was front row. This is Crystal Beach, Texas....one of Ike's many stops.

I like this too. Light blue sky against green grass & yellow flowers provides a lovely sweel bg. The 2 child in their swimwear such threading the pole such a pleasure to view. A sunny summer picture that brings lightheartedness to one's heart.

Sometimes a photo is taken whereby very little more than viewing it needs to be done (as in, very little post production work). Its a sign of a good photographer. I think this image is an example of that. well done Janis
