Does this work for you? I oscillate between thinking this thinking

this is one of my best from my time in Jasper and thinking it looks

too busy.

I have made a 8x12 print and it seems to be better at that size. I

hope to try an even larger print soon.

All comments are greatly appreciated.

These are the kind of scenes that although may not be jaw dropping beautful as a fine art photo... are my favorite because these are what we live to see while happily enjoying time in the outdoors. Makes me want to not be in front of my PC right now!

Adrian, thanks I'm glad this makes you long to be out in nature -- what a nice comment!

I will say that this absolutely wonderful morning. I loved seeing the very source if a river. In the past, I have occasionally driven a major city arterial road (I live in Toronto, ON -- CMA population of roughly 5.5 million) out of the downtown until it wanders out into the country and ends as some forgotten dirt track. Tracing back the mighty Athabasca river up into the glaciers of Mount Cavell was a similar is much more amazing and fantastic feeling.

Ross, if I'm ever out in Washington or if you come to Ontario, I'd love to do a shoot together. We seem to have a similar eye! ;-)

Did you manage to either get up to the base of the glacier or down to Cavell Lake for another morning image? I only had one morning in Jasper and I spent it at Pyramid and Patricia Lakes. I've seen a lot of lovely shots of Cavell Lake reflecting Mt. Cavell with alpenglow and a couple of shots of Angle Glacier with alpenglow directly upon it. Both of those really make me wish I'd had a few more sunrises in the area.
