celasun 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Your comments and criticisms on the technical and emotional aspects, if any, of this photo are much appreciated... Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted December 20, 2008 This might be my very favorite of all of your photos. The lighting, the skin tones are natural (not that gray like many digitals) and it is sincere -right to the core of her as I see it. The other beautiful lady I commented on yesterday 7045 is a second best for me for the same reasons. I like BW portraits come across better to me. Both shots penetrate. I can think of no suggestions for either Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted December 20, 2008 I know you always tell what you think and not what would be politically correct. That is why I really felt honoured when I read your comment. This has also been among the portraits I liked very much. Interestingly, no one commented on this before and it did not get high ranks. This led me to believe that the photo was not actually good; I wasn't objective enough in evaluating it as I knew her well and I also knew how she was feeling at that moment. Your comment shows I was wrong. Being wrong has never made me this happy! Regards, Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted December 20, 2008 Did not someone just tell me yesterday; where else is there a better place to learn if a photo is good if not the critique forum :-) Link to comment
