petespositives 0 Posted August 17, 2008 You have the makings of an excellent photograph here. The balance of light, colour and detail is very good indeed. You ask about cropping and toning... For me the small gap between the tree trunk on the left of the image and the edge of the frame is slightly uncomfortable - either remove it completely (which might be a shame) or... go back and take it differently next time (ha ha!). The toning - the patch of brightly lit ground (in the bottom LH corner) contains very little detail. If it were possible to bring some in through some detailed work in photoshop or similar this might improve things too. Best wishes from Scotland! Pete :) Link to comment
