bob_belanger 1 Posted July 26, 2008 It's a very nice portrait, I might have tried to use the stamp tool to eliminate the smudge at the bottom center. Link to comment

manuel barrera houston, 0 Posted July 26, 2008 I like to walk and photography gives me an excuse to go and walk for miles, carrying a camera and monopod/tripod with me. It is a hobby, very expensive, but a hobby. One of many friends that I have met introduced me to the tele-beamer, a flash with a magnifier. I tried it a couple of weeks ago and the results were very good for getting details when the bird and sun did not want to move where I wanted them to. this is a photo I took when I took the trouble of placing a flash and the magnifier on the flash. The bird was in a tree so very shady. Link to comment

leroy laverman 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Nice colors. I'm missing the feet and wish the bird was turned toward the view rather than away. The dark band in the background is a little troublesome. Would be perfect if the lighter color progressed all the way up. Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted July 27, 2008 Great exposure with wonderful sharpness. Link to comment
short1 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Jeff: You capture, consistently, the vision I wish I could convey: simplicity, beauty, tranquility. Your subject, in this case, has dignity; the complimentary tonality and hue of the background is exqusite. As usual, you've acheived an Asian ambiance, a perfect balance of all elements. Nothing to criticize ( by the way, I like the profile view - I disagree that a frontal view would have been more congenial - in fact, I think it would have degraded the image.) 7/7 all the way. Best, Craig Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 27, 2008 Very beuatifull scene, very good sharpness and background color. I only miss the feet, that's why i didnt't give a 7 for it in aesthetics! My congats! Link to comment
ekaufman1 0 Posted July 27, 2008 Focus and exposure are perfect.I don't miss the feet and I agree with others that background blur at the bottom center is distracting. Still a beautiful image. Link to comment
