Last year, during the Iranian New Year, Eid-e Nourouz, I was walking in a wealthy place of Tehran, called Shahrak-e Gharb.

While everybody was enjoying the parties of previous nights for the Eid celebration, I saw Davoud who was cleaning the roads of that place. I should mention that Sharak-e Gharb was built during the ex-regime and most of the streets have their own security office.

Each house worth million of dollars with pool and other sport and entertainment facilities.

Davoud told me he had to work during the Eid's holiday and was paid around 150,000 Tomans Eidi (gift) which was not that much.

Although he was a very poor person compare to the very rich owners of those houses, but he was happy that he earned good (hallal) money for his family.

With his permission, I took his image while he was sitting on his motocycle with the background of those different fabrics collected thru his pick ups.
