Northern Cal coastline

A long drive down PCH in early September.

 

This is actually my first posting, and I would love some comments

I really can't say anything bad about it, the only thing you have against you is the haze in the distance... which you obviously had no control over, and it gives a sense of distance/perspective anyway.

 

Nice colours in the water, looks very inviting, except for the jaggy rocks! I'd like to see more photos of this area.

Nice, picturesque vista. And photo, well, it's just a document.

Great. Almost makes it look like a tropical island.

I've been able to zap haze before using the Gimp. First time I saw it done my jaw hit the floor. If Gimp can do it then Photoshop should be able to cut the haze too. Check it out...

The water is getting pretty dark so I would probably cut things down a little. Gotta find the sweet spot.

Leave it alone! The distant haze reflects the always changing mood of the area. It also accentuates the focus point which is the tide pool. The green water vs the blue water reminds us that this is not a tropical setting. I think it would be wrong to try to make it one.
