kw_smith 0 Posted September 24, 2002 I was hoping for a greater sense of distance between the foreground tree and the background, but they blended together anyway. I'll be re-visiting the area and this scene in a couple of weeks, any suggestions? Link to comment
janelno5 0 Posted September 24, 2002 Nice shot.. kind of reminds me of the burning bush... or a storm swirling and igniting.... I like it. I would love to see it in color ! Link to comment
fabriziogiudici 0 Posted October 9, 2002 The sky is beautiful, but there's a bit of confusion in the foreground. Link to comment
pasi_lassila 0 Posted October 10, 2002 Funny and good movement in thisone. quite good contrast but a bit dark..? Link to comment
bradford_daly 0 Posted October 12, 2002 as for your question, use a wider lens and move in closer for the foreground/background relationship you want. the image is much better in black and white than in color. there's no color contrast in the color version. Link to comment
b.voisin 0 Posted October 16, 2002 I agree with bradford daly, i would prefer a wide view, more dynamic and less confuse in the foreground. Try a 24mm if you can, may be close to the 2 trees on the right or the front dead tree alone... You should try to shoot at the ground level to dynamise. as Pasi Lassila wrote, i think the contrast/dark is a bit to much on the trees wich are to much center. The foreground is a bit confuse, even in color. The sky is very beautifull, i hope the weather will be the same next time. Good picture, but i think you will take better ones next time! Bertrand.
