chris_ho 0 Posted August 7, 2003 This is a wonderful photo, and seems very reminiscent of a bygone era when all men wore hats (though no one here does), and black and white was king. Really nice shot! Link to comment
gonzalo_blasco 0 Posted August 29, 2003 The best photo I've ever seen here! MASTERphoto Each minute likes me more Link to comment
danmerkdotcom 0 Posted December 23, 2003 Wait. Are you poeple sure that this is real? This is such a manipulated image that I am laughing out so loud that you are all tricked. There is no way possible that the forground has a 3 foot focus range then falls off the map at 3.2 ft? The guy in the background is in focus, and the car that is 10 more feet from him is so blurry that this makes no sense. I'd bne willing to bet my life that this was manipulated, or at least 2 negatives! Link to comment
marion_geralds 0 Posted February 3, 2004 Have you seen the photos of this Mr know-all who makes these silly remarks!!!! Link to comment
lukedavis 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Daniel Merk, There exists this thing called photoshop . . . with which one can blur the background and create what looks to ba a shallow depth of field, just to bring you up to date on things. To the photographer, this is an awesome shot; great catch. Link to comment
danmerkdotcom 0 Posted March 10, 2004 Thanks for bringing me up to date on technology. Since I have never used a computer, I would not know how to manipulate photos the way you people do in the new millennium. I appreciate your honesty. All along I have been doing things the old fashioned way; using on lens filters, knowing how to use my depth of field when taking an image, and using a light meter when taking pictures with film. I better get into digital, looks amazing that you can create sloppy craft with a click of a mouse. Cool! :) Link to comment
pernilla_esbjornsson 0 Posted June 13, 2004 oh my what a freaky family! they look they have stepped out of a nerdy tv-series from the 50s. it is absolutely timeless - how do you manage to find such people? i love everything about it Link to comment
chris_merk 0 Posted November 21, 2004 I have a friend from England, and yes, I do see how they would be so eccentric as to actually go out in public looking like this. >grin Link to comment
