I like the concept, but....I think the photo would be a bit more pleasing to view if the sun were not centered in the frame (right to left) and there was a bit more detail in the foreground. Perhaps you could have used a graduated ND filter to help ease the huge contrast and brought out the foreground.

I like the composition and the centered position of the sun. Also I like the dark foreground, it is very dramatic and is nice the contrast with the detail of the waves and the bird on the sea shore.. Simple shot and probably not so original subject but strong atmosphere. Good job!

I like it, too. I think if photos of this type are centered it looks natural. I like the light captured on its way down and the dark FG. The image looks half abstract and is very attractive in its reduced colours.
