amalsircar 2 Posted July 2, 2008 A 1 composition,Jack. Black cat, white Japanese letters and the iron covers ,make this one a symbolic image. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 2, 2008 Number 1 cats are always black! Now if I could only read its name... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 2, 2008 I like the literally black and white juxtaposition, and " framed" Jack. Just a cat and letters, but as always well composed and observed , and timing! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Fantastic. Using the grate as a framing element keeps the cat in its place. And you've snapped at just the right moment. You have such a talent for harvesting synchronicity. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Phenomenal shot. Looks like the cat is deliberately striking a pose while looking right at you. #1 sure has a lot of attitude. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted July 8, 2008 Great shot. The grate does work really well on the two sides, but what I really like is the darkened pavement (wet?) that looks like a phantom monster about to pounce on the wily cat that is diverted by you. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted July 31, 2008 what a look he's returning to you....I really don't know who's spotting who....even at this speed the composition is remarkably controlled with framing partners left and up and the white letters on the pavement...I am not sure the image of you on the cat side is so controlled...I'll never know anyway.... trisha jean-angela 5 Posted September 20, 2010 I love the graphic quality to this one and of course, the fact that my favorite, the cat, is starring in it doesn't hurt either! Very well done! I love it! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
dennisdixson 0 Posted October 4, 2010 Self portrait of a photographer on the prowl. Grrrr... Perfect for the dustcover of your book. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 4, 2010 How the hell are you? How are things over at Flikr? Still holding down the fort over there like I am over here? |'ll get over to see your stuff when I have a little time. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted November 5, 2010 This is actually a lovely composition utilizing the varieties of tones to produce a feat for the eyes. On a more practical note, I hope your bad luck on this day was somewhat limited. Link to comment
svend erik poulsen 0 Posted August 23, 2013 Oh My - I thought this were a real panther. I hope the sign dosent read "no cats allowed" Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 23, 2013 I don't think this miniature "panther" gives a shit about what the sign reads; he's going to go where he damn well pleases. Thanks for the comment. Link to comment
