i find this composition lovely: the position of the old couple displays a way of having lived together, knowing each other too well already, thus trying to gain distance. but the fact that they use the same stools shows the impossibility of it. edit: this is a grade of humanity in photography i am striving to achieve.

Strangely enough, even a slight cropping from above ruins the mood entirely!

A marvelous use of negative space...

From the title to scene it comes to the viewer fresh and unincumbered. Combining a rewarding balance between documentary and fine art. The amount of sky devoted is the essential choice that many might have missed. My morning dose of satisfying inspiration. Cheers CH.

Excellent image. Composition and tones are right on. The choice to add the grass in the foreground was a great one. This photograph speaks very loud. Good work.

Totally contented and extremely lucky

Great capture, Carlos. I see this as a quiet moment for them to share - which is nice to think that at their age, they'd still want to.

What a joy to come across this!  I could go on and on about timeless symbols, echoes of Cartier-Bresson, bla bla bla.  Suffice it to say that I would hang this on my wall (not that my wall is the final arbiter of good photography, but...well, hopefully you know what I mean!)

An excellent photograph, both technically and as an image. A perfect tonality, moderate contrast with well-developed shadows and highlights. The feeling from the image is serene and relaxing. You feel the happiness of life and the pleasure of being relaxed and with a calm hart.  I really enjoyed it…Congrats…
