regis 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Hi Steve Yes - HDR technique comes handy in many situations. I use it too (from time to time, when the composition is difficult to be filtered with simple grads). It is, however, quite tricky as well - and requires much effort to get it right. One problem I've noticed is general lack of contrast in final result. Blacks are very often washed out and require some local touch-ups to have more natural look. What I often do is I replace some regions of a final tonned image using one of the original layers. I would, therefore, suggest some delicate shadows/highlights enhancement here and a bit of sharpening at the end. Beside that - very nice composition and beautiful place. Cheers Piotr Link to comment
