I like the framing but don't like the fact that the school is obscured by the tree. I like the contrast between the total blackness and the colours through the window. Again, the tree in the left of the frame spoils the image slightly for me, but since you were trying to get the school in the frame I'm not sure if you could have avoided that ?

First comment would be that this is actually quite a conventional way of shooting - dark inside, view in the window. The angle and distortion being less common, though... No major problem with this shot. Looks fine to me - but maybe just a limited enthusiasm on my part because what's in the window doesn't strike me as a great subject in itself. Regards.

i am gonna go with tony and daniel on this one. i think SOME detail on the inside would help the framing, and more dramatic lighting outside would help with the subject. especially in AZ. i lived in tuscon for a little while and was blown away by the sunrise/sunset light most days.

I'm afraid it's the subject matter that I find a bit ordinary. Try this shot at dusk with a long exposure and add some hand held flash to the cactus (keeping well out of site when firing) and this could be quite a stunning scene.

Christian,

This was the work of yours I'd seen before in my reply to your post. I think the use of the window as a frame is amazing! It's like a 3D picture hanging in empty space. However, I'd agree that I wish the subject itself was more interesting, as the "picture" itself doesn't stand alone too well.
