Hello, I really like this angle, I also like the DOF, the only little, minute detail that is bothering me is that it seems like the stalks in the very foreground (on the left side of the frame) are out of focus too and I think I would have like to see the entire foreground sharp and then have the focus falling out into the background. I do like the comp and the image though. Do you have a fish eye? That could give a pretty cool effect too ... that last one is just a thought, not a critique.

They make bread out of this and we must respect everything connected to bread!

Kevin, this looks like "Wheat" to me. The yellow color shows that it is going to be ready soon for cutting.

To my Midwestern eye, this looks like wheat. I worked in the fields as a kid earning spare money for things-n-stuff. A beautiful crop you've captured.
