Any critiques or suggestions?

I like this shot. There is one small thing that took this photo from an ok shot to a really good one and that's the simple lift of your feet. If you can imagine having not done that can you see what I mean? It's the little things that are so often missed that take things from mediocre to good.

 

Good touch.

Thanks.Someone had told me once that fashion photography was all about triangles.When I looked at magazines I saw them all over the place.So I was trying to do a bit of that.Also in portrait class they told us to sit on the edge of the seat so I did that as well.Just experimenting .Thankyou for taking the time to comment.I love what you said to Mead about lighting,as well.I think that is very true.I'm trying to see the light too.

Looks like a fantasy. I like the star effect. The lighting is pretty good too. Her shirt is a bit plain for the scene however.

 

Btw, it's great that you're considering geometry etc in your shots. Di Vinci was a big time implementor of triangles.
