lex_photo 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Yeah, I tried to over saturate just a bit so that they would come up right on the web, but I think I over did it a little bit. Thanks for stopping by - Lex Link to comment
je ne regrette rien 67 Posted June 18, 2008 wonderful colours! a pity that you had to cut away part of the back of the train! Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted June 19, 2008 yeah, the next train section cut it off for me. Maybe next time the train will stop in a better place for me to take the photo. Thanks for stopping by - Lex Link to comment

KenPapai 37 Posted June 21, 2008 I like the image a lot, but have just three "complaints": 1. Boring POV, 2. Too cropped (bottom of train car missing), and, 3. Image posted is rather small (only 652 px high). The brown side-tracks details is awesome despite your all-in-one lens. How super saturated is this photo? Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted June 22, 2008 I have another pov that I'll upload next which I don't think is as boring. The crop was due to the next section of the train. You can see a bit of it in the photo. Next time I'll have to try to find a walking bridge which is closer to the end of the train. I guess I put this one up first because I really love the colors and the lines. I know I upped the saturation and the contrast a bit but not too much, I was trying to bring out the clouds a bit more with that. As to the image size, it looked large enough to view on my screen so I didn't see any reason to upload a large image. Thanks for stopping by and when I get the next train photo up, I'd love to hear your comments. Thanks again - Lex Link to comment
emilia_pylkk_nen 0 Posted June 22, 2008 I like this! I like those pretty dark tones, because all colours are so rich. Sky looks also so dark and good. I think this is good work Alexa, thanks for sharing! :) Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted August 29, 2008 I think you did a very good job here. Actually I like the "dark" feel you've got here. I'm not bothered with that cutoff at the bottom because it's hardly essential to the rest of your photo. For me your POV looks just fine. I don't think you overdid anything here. Link to comment
lex_photo 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Thanks Ton! I'm glad you like it. I love the colors too - Lex Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted January 2, 2012 I'm with Ton! I don't find the POV boring, I like the darkness of the photo, don't find the "end of the train" framing to be an issue, and I LOVE the amount of saturation you chose to use. Link to comment
