Awesome shot. I have the same camera and want the 300 2.8. Nice combo. Just proves that focus isnt an issue if you know what you are doing. Can you give details on shot. Ex: f2.8 1/2000 1.4x or 2x or just 300mm. Thanks

i think its a great shot, but (and it may just be my display) it appears a little over sharpened. the sky is kind of distorted around the wings... and it makes the wings look a little plastic. IMO it takes away from this otherwise amazing shot.

I see noticeable sharpening too, as mentioned above, which is too bad because I think it would be an amazing image without the sharpening! (It still is)
