jd anderson 0 Posted June 6, 2008 I grew up in Indiana, and spent many summer days running around in the corn fields surrounding our house. I love images like this. I was wondering if this is a composite, though. The clouds on the horizon are much lower in the sky than I can remember seeing naturally?? Love the colors! JD Link to comment
John Crowe 165 Posted June 6, 2008 It is not a composite. This cornfield is on a hill, and as you can see the trunk of the tree is not only hidden by the corn but also because it is slightly over the crest of the hill. This likely accounts for the cloud/horizon effect and also why the sky appears so clear on the "fake" horizon. Link to comment
