if she is the one shooting...i might be willing to take that bullet!

It is funny how her look may make you feel safe, even joyfull, despite of holding a gun in front of you. the use of a short lens blow her hands out of proportion, good those are out of focus, otherwise they'd compite with her face.

Offensive picture. Have you ever seen a hole in a person or other animal made via high velocity lead? It isn't fun and games. Technically OK, but she needs to learn how to hold a pistol. If you are trying to show the power of a particular woman, I hope you can do better than this cliche.

The model's engaging, but the smile seems a bit too friendly for someone holding on gun on the viewer. I like the reflections on the sun glasses and the nice blown-out white background contrasting with her black top. I wondering though, if the depth of field should have been pumped a bit to get the gun into focus (because certainly the viewer is drawn to trying to focus on it...)

Would have liked to have seen the gun in focus. Would have made for a better pic if the depth of field were wider. Learn more about f-stops.

I say ignore those who complain about the improper hold, the gun out of focus, the gun, etc. The focus is her face, and everything else is pleasant contrast... a good juxtaposition of ideas. Not perfect, but well-done.

Agreed. Ignore the "fashion accesory" comments. Foolish. In NO WAY does this glamourize violence or guns.

Yes... she isn't holding the gun "properly" but 95% of people aren't going to notice that. -Personally... I think there should have been slightly more depth of field. Then again... it's that fake capgun. Then again... drill the plastic end out and 95% of people aren't going to know that it's fake.

The expression on her face and the gun being pointed straight at the lens kind of "clash".

(Love your work!!! Amazing portfolio)

We have a camera, a nice looking girl, and a gun - what more could a guy ask for? (Put her on a motorcycle and it's perfect.)

It's an interesting idea. As for the remarks about the grip, they're correct, but for the wrong reason IMO. While it's true that most people will never notice that the grip is wrong, it's also true that it would have taken no additional effort to have the grip be right, so unless it was wrong on purpose, it resolves to just being a somewhat sloppy oversight. As far as where she's aiming, it's clearly not at the viewer. I'd say the shot would whistle closely past my right ear. Frightening, but harmless.

This sort of grabs your attention - especially the happy, glamourous face behind... a gun. I like that the gub is blurred. I think you are right on in composition of model and prop within the frame.

I live in a country where guns bring about tragedy on a regular basis. If you were exposed to this, you would not find this photo aesthetic, or even tasteful.

what an agrue for just a picture right? guess you neva thought this wud happen, hahaha! but i like the argue. i think everyone here has a point, according to what they have lived and passed thru. again i say: the cuttiest girl for my taste. i dont care bout the gun pointing at the parrot on my shoulder AAARRRRGG!! neither the hold of it, neither the focus on it... just looked at her face, thats why im writing this now... SHE MADE ME DO IT!! (joke at the gun) good pic, and thanks for starting a good disscution!

ps: she reminds me of Faye Valentine on Cowboy Bebop
