Stormy Weather

In the most incredible light show I've ever seen, large rain clouds

ran overhead, while the sun still lit the background clouds and

thunder was striking in the distance. This image is as shot, straight

out of the camera.

Wonderful sky and great composition.

Clouds are such wonderful complementary subjects to any composition.

Really nice moment. The diagonal created by the differing sized stones takes our eye right to the maelstrom.

A very good capture of an angry sky, congratulations.

This is good too; but I like the horizontal format better. I also think the FG light on the rocks is more flat in this instance, versus that warm light on the rocks in the horizontal format image. You stumbled onto a wonderful scene and have captured it brilliantly. Very nice work, Amigo! Cheers! Chris

Fantastic shot and good work on this one!

Fascinating contrast between the flat surface of the water and the rugged texture of the stones. The same can be noted for the differentiation between the calmness of the water and the angry appearance of the sky.
