Birches

This was taken with a 4x5 using tri-x. It was a warm day with just

the right amount of light to create a glow in the distance.

Fortunately, there weren't a lot of people on the trail that day.

Put a person on the trail (walking away) & raise the contrast.

I think "d like it better if the birches were whiter.

It would not surprise me if this is one of those images that looks a lot better as a b&w print than it does as a scanned image. Great detail in this. However, please try to follow photonet's guidelines for uploading images so that it fits on our screens.
