r_d9 0 Posted May 11, 2008 landscapes,specially sunsets need to create a pleasant mood for a viewer....this pic has no interesting point of focus,except for the bird.the sun is inderexposed,foreground has no detail.....the sky has no remarkable colors or cloud formation to boast off.landscape shots need lots of patience.shooting pics half an hour before the sunrise or one hour after the sunsets creates amazing colors,textures etc.or shooting at early sunrise or an hour before sunset has lovely warm color that creates wonderful shadows and detail all around..try shooting around this time. paullink 1 Posted May 11, 2008 RD is right the photo is dark enough but not unremarkable.I suggest a new crop by setting the bird top left and disappearing the black ground that has nothing to show.Regards Link to comment
