chrisalmerini 0 Posted June 15, 2008 I am big fan of your landscapes of the park. This one looks like it was shot in the noon sun or mid day? The sharpness is not where your other positings are usually. Any ideas beyond the mid day sun? I'll check back to see what post. Composition is fairly good- the brown tree in the tree line sticks out a little. I hope this helps...Chris Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted June 16, 2008 Actually you shot this closer to 5pm. Look at the FG pond, it is in the shadows completely. Remember that I had worked this area for the little series of reflected landscapes when the late light was still on it probably 45 minutes earlier? Cheers! Chris Link to comment
cphilpott 0 Posted June 16, 2008 I feel there might be a sub image in the bottom half. The reflection has more warmth and intimacy. The dome to me, in this shot, feels distant and not connected with where the photographer "is". The reflection, pulls it in closer but not as much as I would like. I am stumbling on words here so I will stop. I love this place and it frustrates the heck out of me. Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted June 16, 2008 Chris H was right on the money. I went back to the original flash card and it says 5:22pm. Glad your memory is better than mine Amigo! All I can say was it was a wonderful afternoon shooting in a majestic place. Craig, thanks for the suggestion. Look for a reflection only in the immediate future...RAY Link to comment
