raybrizzi 0 Posted May 7, 2008 Nicely caught sun on the building. Color is a bit oversaturated but it works here. Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted May 7, 2008 I agree with Ray.....the saturation just enhances the disrepair of this old shack. Black Forest perhaps? I've been to Germany several times and absolutely love your country! Very nice shot! Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted May 7, 2008 Christal and Ray, thank you for your kindly comments. Christal, it's not Black forest, it's Rhineland near Duesseldorf and Cologne. Best regards, Franz. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted May 8, 2008 This is really interesting because I see the fine brick work on the "main building", and then there is the addition which is poorly made and a huge contrast. I like that. Great tonal work as well. This image makes me think and try to figure out how all this came to be possible to capture in one shot. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 8, 2008 Excellent - love the light which, IMO, makes this image 'tick'. Well done 6/6 Link to comment
abarak 0 Posted February 10, 2009 Very nice Franz. Good capture of overall a dark/eery atmosphere, I especially like the colors and contrast on the plank wall. Link to comment

pablowarko 1 Posted September 7, 2019 Fantastic colors. light and composition, Franz. The addition looks of a totally different time period. The building material and windows are totally different types. A very interesting image. Best regards, Paul. Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted September 10, 2019 Paul, thank you for your kindly comment. The wooden part of the building is demolished. Shame! Best regards, Franz Link to comment
