alton 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Where was that taken? Good job of blurring the background but keeping the airplane sharp. Link to comment
crtslex 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Thanks Alton, This was taken at Santa Paula airport, one of the little treasures in the Los Angeles area. My mission was to get a good prop blur and background blur with a sharp image of the airplane. I wish the background blur was more of a lateral blur, but I guess I'll have to work on that. Thanks again. Curt Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted May 15, 2008 Nice shot - I really enjyed this picture, though I have to admit this is one of my favorite planes of its kind :) So even though I may be a little biased, it brought a big smile to my face - and it is a well executed photograph as well. Link to comment
crtslex 0 Posted May 21, 2008 Thanks for your comments. I like these planes too. I got a ride in a Super Decathalon in 1993 and took my first flying lesson the next weekend, and my first tailwheel time was in a Citabria. CP Aviation in Santa Paula has a nice fleet of Citabrias and Decathalons and they specialize in tailwheel and aerobatic instruction. I'm glad you liked the picture. Curt Link to comment
