buri 0 Posted April 21, 2008 I really like the perspective of the shot as well as the silhouette effect of the mountains in the background. I would suggest that this picture was probably taken a little bit too early. If you look to the left of the sun, you will see two light circles in the picture. That is caused by the combination of the lens you are shooting with and the fact that you are shooting directly at the sun. If you would have waited for about half an hour, this shot would be much better. Part of the hard part of photography (at least for me) is being patient enough to wait for the right shot. jlineen 5,671 Posted April 23, 2008 Thank you Ryan. I was using 2 ND grad for this shot, so the flare was probably unavoidable. Personally I like the linear flare pattern giving a 'starburst' effect,but I agree the blobs to the left hand side detract from the image. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. Link to comment
