abbas_ali_amir 0 Posted April 21, 2008 mesmerising scene.. superb.. the only i feel could have made and can make the photo better is the exclusion of the second bird lying down and adding the mirror image of the flying bird in the water by some post production technique. Nevertheless the photograph is awesome. Great compsition.. great color details. I would rate it as 7.5/10. Link to comment
leroy laverman 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Nice capture Monte. The exposure looks a bit hot on my screen but not too much. You also might want to selectively pull back the blues as the male has a blue tail - probably reflection from the water. These are just minor points - it really is a great shot. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted March 16, 2011 I missed this one. First time I actually am witnessing a sex scene the way movies always portrayed them, not the ugly scenes in the rest of this folder. These avocets sure look elegant doing ANYTHING! This looks like one of those Olympic Ice skating finales where the Russian couple throws each other in the air while Ravel's Bolero plays on the loudspeakers, or, heck, the beach scene from "From Here to Eternity", complete with the cheesy music. This is the chic flick in an otherwise tawdry, salacious folder. Did you make a print of this for the couple? This should hang on the wall of their living room. Well, maybe the bedroom. On third thoughts, maybe it should go into the risque album, hidden from the kids until grandpa and grandma are in their 70s and it surfaces from the attic, covered in dust, to prove that gramps and grandma were once swingers, literally.
