lonebearimages 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Great shot, and a wonderful composition. I might have put just a touch more space between the flowers on either side; but that's probably a personal preference. Good find, and well captured. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
anish 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Thanks for the comments. Chris, there actually was a bit of space on either side of the flowers, but I cropped in favor of simplifying the background, which I felt wasn't helping the image. Thanks again, Anish Link to comment
cycler48 8 Posted April 22, 2008 This caught my eye right away and not a lot of photos do that (not even nudes). The yellow flowers in the foreground add a beautiful splash of color in just the right place in the frame. I tend to agree with Chris regarding a little bit of space on either side of the flowers, but it really is a minor detail and doesn't adversely affect the overall quality of the composition. The rock spires add interest to the background to compliment the beautiful foreground. I haven't been to the Alabama Hills in several years, and I've never done so for photographic purposes. Maybe its time I did. Link to comment
anish 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Thank you, Mark. The Alabama Hills offers infinite possibilities for photography. It is a challenging place to shoot, but great fun to wander around and very rewarding when a composition comes together! Anish Link to comment
