jzq 0 Posted April 15, 2008 I'm not sure if you shot this in color and converted it, but if you did good on you. It's a perfect candidate for B+W. You've done well with the contrast, focus, and DOF. I really like it, especially all the different textures, ranging from prickly (foreground, right) to soft (clouds). Link to comment

macartney 0 Posted April 15, 2008 You have a good B&W eye. The only thing about it is that it looks a little over sharpened. Very good composition. Looked for your portfolio and saw you are new to Photo.net. Enjoy! Link to comment
lauren_partida 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Hi: Thanks everyone...it is untouched-no photoshop, except cropping. Just a crisp day, I suppose. Thanks for the welcome to Pnet, but I'm an old member, just back from being gone, and it's good to be back! John, what the heck do you mean? you crack me up:) lauren Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Being a long-time desert rat, I gotta say that you absolutely nailed this one! I wouldn't change a thing. Gorgeous composition, and terrific black and white conversion. That FG ocotillo is a great anchor too. Well done! Cheers! Chris Link to comment
