This looks so peaceful and quiet, albeit a little chilly. I was thinking it might look better if you cloned out the leash, but I actually like it there. It gives a connection from man to dog. Nice composition.

Jeanne, this is captivating. Your post processing was just enough to give it a painterly feel which is very fitting for this peaceful landscape and portrait of sorts of your dog and S.O. The rusty leaves on the left, the partially melted snow in the tire tracks, the stark but detailed tree trunks and the fine/feathery bare branches in the background make this a spot on piece of work. Congratulations! (My English teacher would have killed me for using so many commas in one sentence - oh well, not in high school anymore, I can write as bad as I like.)
