This can easily transfer you into the psychedelic end of the fabulous sixties. How about, instead of going deep,go up with "Lucy" in the sky, with or without diamonds?

Linda: I had you in mind with this shot, remembering all the wonderful pool shots you took last year. And I'm anticipating another round from you. I'm attaching a picture of my muses.

Katherine: I'll always take a thumbs up from the queen of pattern analysis. If only I had your gift for abstraction.

Glauco: Thanks. Psychedelic is an apt description. I hope this doesn't evoke any flashbacks.

John M: So, I'm always glad to hear your thoughts. I was just mesmerized by how the waves and lights made shifting patterns on the bottom of the pool. Luck, pure luck.

Mehmet: Hello in return. Always nice to hear your thoughts.

Giuliano: I'm glad you like this abstract. I especially like hearing from someone like yourself who stretches the boundaries a bit.

Janusz: You are such a prolific guy, I can barely keep up with your creations, each more interesting than the next.

Laurent: As they say, life is but a dream.

Emmanuel: Fooled you. I've had the flu for the past several days. Fever can be so inspirational.

PhoS: I am the walrus: goo goo g'joob.

Ruud: Thanks for your comment.

Cynthia: Did this feel like a splash? One second after this, my daughter jumped in full force and got me and camera wet.

Water, the greatest lens of any glass man could ever make.

I envy mermaids and other creatures of the sea...

Do they know how to see?

or is it just man, searching the depth of his own vision,

that gives us gifts of this liquid miracle?

Once again I've been beaten to the punch by damn near everybody on Pnet. If you stare at this thing, you (well I, anyway) can see all sorts of mini images. One moment there is a fleeting tulip, the next a slithering snake. But mostly I just wonder why a gelatinous blue blob would be wearing fishnet stockings.

Jeff, i do so love seeing photos of your young family! they always remind me of when mine were younger. my nine-year-old loved water at two, but at three she wouldn't go near it whether it was in a pool or a lake. baths were still fun though. i think she got to a a stage where she realized the scale of the water and it was soooo much bigger than she was, it scared her. now she would live in the water if she could. she will be starting swim team again soon, so yes, you will see more water shots in my pf~!

Jeff, can I print this out and put it on my wall next to my lava lamp next to my Farah Faucet poster; I may even get a black light - bet that would look awesome!!!

This is really kool, very lucid and liquiddy.

Your pool?

Joseph T: Everyone needs a secret life, dude. Are you dolphin-safe?

Gordon: Gotta love a good trick of the light, huh?

Antoni: Agreed. You could stare at this spot for hours and the "water as lens" would create something new. Perhaps this is why people park themselves in front of pools and oceans for such long periods.

Rakesh: And a warm thanks in return.

David: Jabba the Hutt's cousin in fishnet. It was a lucky, lucky day for me.

Linda: There's nothing that creates joy such as kids and water. Looking forward to your photos.

Inger: Thanks. I'm glad you liked this one.

A.K.: I thought this was just weird enough to seem like something I'd do. Thanks.

Kirk: Man, I bet you don't even have a Farrah Fawcett poster. Well if you do, I'll swap it for the rights to this photo. But it can't be one of the Lifetime Burning Bed-type of photos, okay? I want the classic one. (I've just offended myself).

I admittedly met and married much better than Farrah.

Of course, you were never a teenage boy, were you? Between you and me, I liked Jaclyn Smith better.

How can be be sure this is not an image of a rare underwater lizard from the Black Lagoon? Nice shot Jeff!

Jaclyn for sure and the brunette I married is proof of my leanings. Just didn't think "Jaclyn Smith poster" would have made that 70's connection.

You know it is really hard to remember that far back but I don't think I was one of the millions of teenage boys that bought one of those.

Shawn: I am the Lizard King. I can photograph almost anything. (Oops, I lapsed into Jim Morrison, there, for a second).

Kirk: I think many of us secretly imprinted on Jaclyn. Wishing you and your Mrs. well.

Cynthia: No problem. Gabi's always delighted to mug for the camera.

Tolo: Thanks for your comment.

Kelvin: This is a wave caused by my kiddo jumping full force into the pool a foot or two away from me. No magic. I just snapped the shutter.
