A wonderful scene and excellent capture... Beautiful mixture of warm sunset and cold Winter conditions. Mike

All I can say is 7/7 plus. The colors, the light, the amount of detail the is nothing wanting in this image which evokes a lot of feeling. Tranquility, beauty, chills, warmth in the richness of sunlight and the majesty of the distant mound, covered in a snowy blanket standing watch over it's domain. An admirable piece of artistic imagery. Congrats, rek.

Wow! Another amazing shot! I really love this one, the light is great, composition is strong, movement creates a surreal scene and the ice/water drops are perfect! I'm a real big fan of your work, always a pleasure to view your images. Please never stop taking photos.

Hi Simon,

Awesome place and a very good capture.

My only issue is that the foreground seems too strong and too large for my taste, hence it diverts the attention away from the really awesome upper half.

It is almost universal among landscape photographers to include something in foreground, especially in vertical shots like this one. IMHO, it rarely works the way intended.

cheers,

Excellent Simon. Totally disagree with Mehmet. The foreground provides a compositional path that draws you in. Just the way that it was intended.

Great colors also..:)

Absolutely wonderful image, Simon. The foreground rock and grasses, repeated in the middleground and then similarly in shape by the background hills make this an amazing composition. The background light adds a lot of depth as well. This one might just be my favorite of yours.
